Assalamualaikum And Sincere Greetings

It is past midnight but I am not able to sleep.  I listen to the frogs, they are noisy and loud.  My mind had been away, from this blog. What is that cricketty sound in the background that falls in rhythm with the singing of the frogs.  Could it be it is the song of the crickets.  I wonder.  Or the sound of another tribe of frogs.  But it is an orchestra outside my bedroom.

I click on the The Holy Qur'an - trasnlation by Yusuf Ali.  I click on Luqman.  I scroll to the bottom of the page.  And so this is Luqman verse 34.

34. Verily the knowledge of the Hour is with God (alone). It is He Who sends down rain, and He Who knows what is in the wombs. Nor does any one know what it is that he will earn on the morrow: Nor does any one know in what land he is to die. Verily with God is full knowledge and He is acquainted (with all things).

This is a reflection for me to ponder and be reminded upon tonight.

  1. Wa'alaikumsalam Aishah, good to have you back here and sharing your thots.

In seeking for answers I'd normally do the same, open up any pages of the Al-Quran, on random, and Alhamdulillah I'd get the answers, either directly or indirectly.

  10. wassalam..... It's a light and sound environment..... sandwiched with complexity of colours, and that's LIFE. An interesting journey, quite manageable, spiced up with rules some known and some not. Yeap, we keep walking..... sow and reap.
